Cooper and Tanner have had the privilege of working with Bex for the last year, as she supported us our HR function whilst our HR Manager was away from the business. Bex stepped in and took time and care to fully understand the us, and importantly, understand the people and culture of the organisation. Working with Bex has been an absolute game-changer for our organisation. I worked with Bex over a number of months both in our direct organisation but also seeing her work with our partner company. We have a really experienced people operations team but when we have a big project to manage – we need Bex! She thinks of everything on the company side and people side and with all her experience and expertise she heads off problems we didn’t even realise we might have! She is super organised, gets things done, chases up what needs to be completed (but in a really nice way!) and takes the pressure off the team (and me!) so that they can do the day job. We have had a very busy full-on year of change at APFN and we would not have achieved all we have without Bex. She has kept us all on track and often added much needed encouragement, motivation, team therapy and fun along the way. Not only that – she will never sit still and often did far more than was asked, which added tremendous value to the team. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Bex again and we will!

We are a busy, seasonal leisure business but we don’t need a full-time HR person. We do however want to get things right and do the right thing for our team so when we have HR issues and need support with our people compliance and documentation – we work with Bex. What’s it like to work with me?
Good question! I always try and lead with kindness. To me that doesn’t just mean being nice because sometimes HR tasks aren’t nice. It actually means being honest, clear, human, empathetic, doing the right thing and acting with integrity.
Rather than write this bit myself though (which let’s be honest doesn’t really mean much!), I recently asked several clients how they would describe working with me day to day.
