If you want limitless, off the shelf, generic templated, HR support for a small fixed price – there are providers that do that but I will be really honest and say that isn’t me.
My aim is to provide a personal, human service that genuinely adds value to your business and solve the issues – not tie you into long contracts that you don’t want or need or give you documents that are so generic they are almost meaningless. It is this approach that keeps my clients happy and loyal.

How I charge for my time
I can be really flexible depending on what you need and how long you need it for.
- Project work, HR audits, retained HR support and interim HR support tends to be on a day rate. I will be more flexible on the rate for longer term projects.
- On-call HR Support – this is normally charged a time-spent basis, so no cost commitment needed from you – you just pay as you go.
Legal advice
I do know my limits and there are times when you will also need the advice of an employment lawyer. I will always be clear with you when I think this is needed and why; it will never be unnecessary. I have been fortunate to work with some of the best employment lawyers around, so I can recommend excellent lawyers who I have worked with for many years, and I am happy to concisely brief and liaise with them for you. Equally I am happy to work with your existing legal advisors. Generally, specific legal advice will be charged separately, directly between you and the legal advisor.
